As you will have noticed there was a small hitch and the photo was not included with the last entry.
This is what my other half calls hens in a boat. What do you think?

Tired of Legs

Hi there well as you will see I got tired of making legs for the chickens, so though ah! a nesting box would save me the time.
My other half asked why there were chickens in a boat.
If you think that they look as though they are sailing away, let me know and I will go back to the legs.
Its all good fun.

My Crochet Stash

My stash for crochet consists of 14 packs 400grms of white No 10 thread and another 14 packs of cream. I am in heaven with so much in my store.
The plan already in operation, is to make another spread like the last one but in cream, for a relation. It will go well in their new home.
The white will make up an Irish lace spread which I have long wanted to make. It will go in my guest room.
There is enough yarn left to make two bed runners, one with a pink satin under cover and another with a dark brown cotton under cover. I have the material waiting to be used.
However UFO's I have a linen table cloth with crochet panels part finished and which I now need to extend to fit a six foot table. It will not be frogged though.
What would I do without my crafts, time would hang heavy I think.

Mum's Day

Well now what can I say spoilt rotten or what.
Its so nice to receive such lovely gifts and the thoughts that go with them.
The card attached to this gift had a yellow rose, and is a family in thing about my own mother so heres to her memory and a big thanks for mine own.

Sally Scarecrow

I was asked to complete this doll for a friend, hair, facial features and trims.She has a little basket with mushrooms in. She will be on her way home on Monday.
Windy Miller is almost complete now and I found some hen and cockerel patterns and have added a dozen to pick at his corn.
