Sky Watch Friday 26
1.2.3.12) I wanted to show you that Spring is here at last, the ducklings are out on the river. When they flap
their tiny wings to catch up with the clutch, they appear to be running on the water surface.
4) The Swing bridge opened while we were on holiday. On the top right of the bridge is a counter balance,
for when the bridge is lifted from left to right. I am glad to say the ducks have returned to that part of the
river, after the closure for the bridge installation.
5.6) Flowers are appearing everywhere.
7. 10) Remember the rooks nests I mentioned a while back. To see how high they have built click on the picture.
A good summer is on its way, I am sure.
8.9) Our Church steeple was damaged in the earthquake last year. The top three sections have been removed for
repairs to be made. The weather vane has been taken to the village school for the children to jump over, this is said
to bring good fortune.
11) An apple tree in flower.
It happened too quickly for me to capture today, however, a skein of Canada Geese flew over our home, honking as they
made their way to Lincoln.
As said click on the picture to enlarge.
Happy sky watch to you all.

Nice collage. Yes, spring has sprung in my part of the world too :)
Earthquake? In Lincolnshire? I"v eheard everythign now. That's not a phenomenon I usualyl associate with the UK -- at least not on a magnitude sufficient to do damage. We get the occasional tremor here in NC, but they're usually so mild to even notice.
who knew?
It is a glorious compilation of springiness.
Your collages always make me smile. Ahh, spring. Isn't it GRANDE?!
Hi everyone and thanks for your visits and comments.
Mojo the earthquake was approximately 5.8 on the Richter scale.
We do have them, this was a little bigger than normal. It sounded like a tube in the underground, lasted 3 minutes as it travelled through our home and shook my bed, with me in it.
A warning system is being installed across our county now.
See never a dull moment.
Beautiful shots of springtime.
Lovely collage and each individual image is lovely as well!!
My post is on my photoblog: Carletta’s Captures.
You do great mosaics!
BD: My, you are way ahead of us. You have some wonderful conditions and we won't see ducklings for quite a while. Those are some neat sky shots.
Something about scaffolding makes a building look frail and vulnerable--which it is, but we forget. These are wonderful shots. Thanks.
Another great collage, all of the colors are so beautiful. Happy SWF!
Yes, spring comes here, too. Lovely collage!
OH, YES! Spring has definitely arrived. ;-)
What a nice collage!
Oh lovely, and the ducks look like they're swimming in Monet's garden. It's a beautiful collection, and I'm --SO-- happy to see springtime photos again!
Lovely series of photos
