St Denys Church and copy

Hi well Sensory Dragon asked to see the church, so I popped down to town and took a couple of pictures of the original.
The last one is the copy. Three feet by four feet long.
It is a wooden model frame, with the knitted church covering it.
There are another four to make so I will keep you informed about them.

WOW!! amazing detail; even the little clock above the door! That's fantastic and thank you so much for taking time to take photos and post them up. I'm VERY impressed - especially as there are more churches to be completed. Can we expect a knitted model of Tower Bridge or other British landmark in the future? Stonehenge perhaps??!!

Hey Sensory Dragon. Thank you for giving me such good ideas for future projects.Sidney Opera House would look good.
A crystal maker,Schwartz, has made knitting yarn with crystals in it.
Hell on the hands, but fantastic to look at.
The church was requested by the vicar of the original. It was a good project to get into.
Its taught me a lot about design also.
No snow here yet but spectacular frosts and frozen cars.Be well friend
