Sky Watch 11

This week we have had some wonderful days of blue skies and light fluffy clouds, which change at a moments notice.
Today though, while I was bowling, Lord L took these two pictures.
The first is Starlings take flight.
The second is just as the weather was changing and becoming threatening.
It is now bitterly cold.

To see more wonderful pictures on Sky Watch please click on the Sky Watch Banner on my side bar.
As always a big thank you to Tom, Klaus, Sandy, to name but a few of the team working behind the sceans to make Sky Watch available to everyone.

Wow - I love the light through the lens of that cloud! Very nicely captured. And I do love watching a flock of birds - amazing how they work together. Nice SWF shots~

Those are both great shots. The starlings almost looks like a swarm. I've been seeing a lot of them lately too. I love how the second one is like a picture painted on the sky.

Great capture of the starlings; but that second is very dramatic!

Wonderful photos, especially the first with the sky filled with birds and the tip of the tree suspended in the sky also like more birds. Well done.

Very cool solar corona... sort of looks like an oil leak in the sky. Love the eerie birds taking flight.
