Been together now for 43 years

And it don't seem a day too long.

How time passes, 43 years ago today and in similar weather conditions, we said I do and having tied the knot, set forth on a journey. What an astonishing trip we have had.
Two wonderful daughters and a loving grandson.
Two, plus two never to be forgotten, great dogs.
A great many lovely family and friends.
Its wonderful to look back through time, which seems so short and count our blessings.
Thank you to our daughters and grandson for making our life so full of everything worthwhile.
Thank you also to my other half who gets too little mention, for someone who is always there for me.

Hi Imac thank you for your visit and comment.
Flowers this time of the year lift the spirits, not bottled type.
Be well.

'My Old Dutch' has a certain accuracy, but, true, it 'don't seem a day too long'. XXX. You Know Who!

Hi DonnaBGood, thanks for your visit.
Knitting you say, well tips a plenty.
Enjoyment is the most important though.
You crochet also. You know I like lace. I use a 1.25 hook and fine yarn. This will work in heavy thread and a larger hook.
Make a chain of four stitches, join to a ring with a slip stitch.
Make two chain(up side of a petal)one (American) double crochet( centre of petal),two chain ( down side of petal)and slip stitch into the ring. Repeat this five time more. Six petal flower made.
If you wish you can link these by making another flower and slip stitching the 5th and 6th petals to their corresponding petals on the previous flower.
Sew a seed pearl into the centre of each flower.
Are you a free style worker?
See you.
